I don’t know about you but I can’t believe it’s already Easter. I’m sure Easter is looking a lot different for a lot of us. Even though many of us may be missing out on Easter family dinners or going to our Easter church services we can still celebrate! With today’s technology we have the option to watch our church services on line, have FaceTime or Zoom meetings with family and friends, or even just have a simple phone call to check in on each other. However you decide to celebrate Easter this year I hope you find something fun to do!
I happened to come across this cute hand print Easter lilies project that you can do with your kids or even do it yourself! Either way I think it’s adorable.
What you will need:
Green and Yellow Pipe Cleaners
First you’ll want to trace your child’s hand (or your hand). Once you have traced the hand go ahead and cut it out.
Take your cut out paper hand and roll it into a cone shape so you have just enough of an opening at the bottom to put a pipe cleaner through. Secure it with a piece of tape. Take each of the fingers and roll them around a pen or pencil to curl them so they look like petals.
Next take your green pipe cleaner and but it to the length you want for your stem. Then cut a small piece of yellow pipe cleaner to put on the end of the green pipe cleaner. I just folded the green over the yellow and then twisted the two yellow ends together.
Thread the pipe cleaner through the flower.
Repeat as many times as you want to make a small bouquet and then tie them together with a ribbon.
Here is another cute hand print Easter craft to do with your kids too! Let us know if you try either of these and tell us how they turn out! 🙂
We hope everyone has a Happy Easter!
