This fall, I tried my very first FabFitFun box and I loved it! It was full of products that I’d admire in the store but never actually buy for myself, so for just $50 a quarter, it was a great treat for myself! I decided to continue the subscription and looked forward to receiving my winter box. It came just before Christmas and was a really great gift to myself. 🙂 Today I’m sharing everything that the box included!
There’s nothing more exciting than seeing this colorful box on your porch when you get home from work. 🙂
It comes with a little magazine – this one focused on Maria Shriver and her work with Alzheimer’s Disease – did you know two-thirds of Alzheimer’s patients are women? And a woman’s estimated lifetime risk of developing Alzheimer’s at age 65 is 1 in 5? Her organization, The Women’s Alzheimer’s Movement, is focused on finding out why.
It’s like Christmas morning!
First up was this delightful lavender scented soap – I’ve been using it as body wash and it’s delightful and relaxing!
I’ve also been loving this Kate Somerville goat milk moisturizer. I guess her mom would use goat’s milk to treat her eczema as a kid, so it’s supposed to be really good for your skin! I use mine each night and it really feels like it’s soaking in to my skin quickly and doing its job rather than just sitting on the surface. I’m a big fan!
Next up is this cool makeup brush cleaner, which requires no water! I definitely need to be better about cleaning my makeup brushes. 🙂
These glow drops are meant to go on your face underneath your makeup for a little more of a glowy look. You can also use it instead of face makeup for a natural glowy look!
Next was this Erno Laszlo pore cleansing clay mask. I’ve just been applying a thin layer all over my face about 10-15 minutes before I shower, and then I rinse it off in the shower! It makes my skin feel tighter and cleansed afterward!
This makeup eraser is similar to a Norwex cloth – you just add water to the cloth and removes your day’s makeup!
I’ve always heard great things about DryBar products, and this one has been awesome! It’s both a detangler and a heat protectant, so I just spray some in my damp hair before brushing it out and it does its job! It also smells amazing.
Who doesn’t love a good planner? I had already purchased my personal planner for work, but I’ve been using this one at home to keep both Andrew and me up-to-date on what we’re doing each weekend, what’s planned for dinner each night, family and friends’ birthdays, etc.
Here’s everything I got for just $50! Everything is so fun and something I’d definitely be interested in using, but could never validate spending that kind of money on myself. The next few images show the inside of the magazine, where it lists each product I received, plus all the ones I could have received but didn’t.
The magazine lists the retail value of each product, and I totaled up all the products in my box and found out that I got $296 worth of product for just $50! How fun is that?
