Well, I’m not sure how it happened but Ella turned 4 years old this past weekend! I can’t believe we have been blessed to be her parents for the past 4 years. It seems like just yesterday we were bringing her home and starting our parenting journey.
Ella has really developed her own personality and style over the last 4 years. She knows what she wants and isn’t afraid to go for it. This does sometimes tend to get her in trouble too though. 🙂 She is much too smart for her own good and has the biggest heart. She loves her family and her brother. She also loves her friends and getting to have play dates with them. Being on the move is definitely what she prefers. Almost every morning she asks me who we are going to see. I don’t have the energy to make plans every day!
So this past year she has gotten really into anything Disney princess and Vampirina. I wasn’t sure if she was going to end up deciding on a Frozen birthday party or a Vampirina one but she settled on Vampirina. This was actually great because if you aren’t familiar with Vampirina all things Halloween pretty much work perfect for decor for a Vampirina birthday party. She had decided before Halloween so I was able to grab a few things for her party after Halloween.
This year I found her birthday board on Etsy and paid to have it designed and then printed by vistaprint. It saved so much time that I didn’t even regret not making it this year. I also did something new and had a Hot Chocolate bar which I labeled a “Potion Making Station” and it seemed to be a hit. I may have to make it a staple for all of the kids’ birthday parties! Overall, she had a great time and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. Check out the pictures below to see how everything turned out!
