Happy December! Can you believe Christmastime is officially here? Wasn’t it just a couple months ago that Amanda and I were blogging about our Christmas cookies? You can read about those here. I also blogged about my grandma’s cookie recipes last year, which you can read about here.
With Thanksgiving being so late this year, I haven’t had a chance to bake Christmas cookies yet, but you better believe I will be as we approach mid-December! Andrew and I will be hosting my family for Christmas, so of course we have to have some good cookies on hand! If you’re looking for some unique cookie recipes (aside from your classic frosted cut-out cookies) that don’t require a ton of ingredients, preparation or time, here are some that I’m hoping to make this year:
Who doesn’t love a good sweet and salty combination? These Potato Chip Cookies will do the trick!
What sounds more wintery than these Snow Topped Brownie Mounds? Delish!
No more deciding between brownies and cookies – the two become one in these Brownie Cookies!
Once again, what says ‘Christmas’ more than Chocolate Ginger Spice Squares? Yum.
Just a twist on your classic Chocolate Chip Cookies – TRIPLE Chocolate Chip Cookies…because why not add more chocolate?
There are so many other great cookie recipes out there that I’ve been wanting to try, but I thought I’d share these few that I’ve had bookmarked in my cookbooks for quite awhile now! What recipes will you be trying out this year? Share in the comments below!
