Party Food: Super Bowl Edition

By: Kristen Finstad

Ahh, the Monday after the Super Bowl. This should be a national holiday – am I right? Most everyone wants to enjoy the Super Bowl in some capacity — whether it’s for the game itself, the commercials, the social element of Super Bowl parties, or the food — and it just ends up being such a late night! Oh well, we’ll power through today. And in the meantime, I’m going to share some party food ideas that we made for the Super Bowl.

Up first: the air-fried egg roll! This is what you’ll need:

We bought some Egg Roll Wraps just in the refrigerated area of the produce section, and the Asian Chopped Salad kit was right next to it. Then I just threw some chicken breast in the crockpot with some soy sauce and rice wine vinegar.

Just take an egg roll wrap and place some of the shredded chicken and salad mix in the center. Dampen the corners with water, and roll it up while tucking in the sides. I threw it in the air fryer at 355 degrees for about 10 minutes, or until crispy.

Voila!  I used the dressing in the salad kit for dipping, and it was delicious!

We also made pizza egg rolls.

Which is the same process, except we put in pizza sauce, pepperoni, sausage and cheese. Delicious!

We had some party classics, like:

A veggie tray! and…

Lil’ smokies and meatballs! For this, we just used barbecue sauce and nacho cheese. It was spicy and delicious!

We couldn’t forget about dessert, so we made Deviled Strawberries.

I just cut the strawberries in half and cut out their centers, and then

put a big spoonful of Nutella in a plastic baggy and cut the corner off the bag to squeeze the Nutella into the cut-out centers of the strawberries.

Then I sprinkled some chopped nuts over the strawberries, and that’s it! A super easy and (somewhat) healthy dessert.

What dishes did you make for the Super Bowl? Who were you rooting for? Share photos of your party with us in the comments!
